Adjust the left seat support, place the seat on the kart, and fix it with a special tool.
Use a tape measure to measure the distance between the rear axle and the upper edge of the seat. Different brands of frame will have different values (usually about 20cm), and then measure the distance between the edges of the two front seats and the front chassis tube. They will have a 5mm gap, because the right side has the weight of the engine, and the left side offset will make up for the 2-3kg balance.
The seat moves forward or backward by up to 2-3 cm. This may not seem like a lot, but this change has a great impact on the kart on the track and will result in better grip in the front (forward ) Or behind (backward).
After the measurement, use a wrench to change the angle of the side and the seat support below to make it parallel to the seat surface. And use a marker pen to mark the places that need to be punched.
After drilling, the seat needs to be installed from the side support and fixed on the frame, adjusting the height of the pedal screws and the steering column to achieve a better driving position.
