Put your wedge washers on and then move the seat into position. Chuck the bolt through, wiggle the wedge washers around a little bit, put the nut on and then nip it up and then do the other side. But don't do this up too tight, otherwise you can pull the seat out of alignment and it'll make it hard to get the other side in without bending the seat.
So just use your nut and Allen key just to knit this side up and then go on and do it the other side. Okay, moving on to the second side, put your bolt through again just a little bit, put the wedge washer in, Slide the same in position, Chuck the bolt through and then install your nut. This bowl here is too long for my liking.
You only need a couple of threads, three threads sticking out the end of your bolt here. So we could shorten that bolt easily 10 millimeters. So I'm going to go over to my stash and grab one 10 millimeter short on got the short bolt back in just to ratchet this side up. Check the Go Kart Seat that you haven't put too much twists in it.Then grab your tape and put some tape around the outside to hold them in position. So once you've typed it up, remove the bowl and then you've got a nice guide for your drill so that you get your holes lined up on your go kart.
The seat in you just want just want to make sure that the bottom is parallel with the I show the rails it's not too far down and it's not too far up. Okay and that is just perfect and I know that my wedge washers here should just slide in there perfectly and I can drill my holes. Now you're ready to draw your bottom holes.
Make sure that when you're doing it that the seats isn't moving away. If you, if you push on the seat, you can move it out of position. so just Mark the bottom hole on this side and then go around and do the other side. Next move the seat up and drill through the witness holes that you just made.Just run your drill bit through from the top and wiggle it around a little bit to knock the bows off. So the bolt goes through nice and easy line. The drill bit up with the hole that you made with the witness Mark that you made foreign. Go back to the top. Take off the burrs. You're good to go.
How to fit wedge washes or straight washers in your cart
Make up a suitable stack of wedge washes or straight washers, depending on the cart, so that the bolt can do up without moving the seat. Grab your wedge washers and your bolt and assemble the bottom part of the sink. install the nut and do it up with your action spanner. Now it's just a matter of sliding in your wedge stack, chucking in your ball.
